22 05 2008:  Active Substances in Culture Media - Presentations from MediCult Symposium

At the ALPHA 2008 meeting in Istanbul May 2-4 2008, MediCult sponsored a satellite symposium entitled

"Active Components in IVF Media - a promising prospect"

The symposium covered performance and safety studies on the cytokine GM-CSF (Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor), a potent natural growth factor showing promising results in IVF.

Invited speakers were:

• Dr. Sarah Robertson, Research Centre for Reproductive Health, University of Adelaide
• Dr. Søren Ziebe, The Fertility Clinic, University Hospital of Copenhagen
