CE Mark
MediCult has received CE marking (Class III medical devices) for a range of its marketed IVF media products. The CE mark covers media products that contain the protein human serum albumin (HSA) which constitute about half of MediCult’s product portfolio.

The CE mark provides a manufacturer’s declaration that the products comply with the relevant European health and safety legislation. IVF products are today covered by the Medical Device legislation and therefore MediCults products do comply with the Essential Safety Requirements in the European Medical Device Directive (93/42/EEC). The receipt of CE marking is recognised by regulatory authorities around the world and often facilitates additional approval in other regions.
