EmbryoAssist™
EmbryoAssist™ is for culture of embryos up to the 4-8 cell stage (Day 2-3 after fertilisation). EmbryoAssist™ can also be used for fertilisation.
Background
EmbryoAssist™ is a new sophisticated culture medium which has been optimised in accordance with our knowledge and experience of embryo requirements in vitro.
The new EmbryoAssist™ is an updated formulation of nutrients, vitamins, and amino acids. A stable form of Glutamine is added which minimises the risk of toxic ammonia build-up during culture.
A controlled, randomised trial shows significantly more Good Quality Embryos on Day 3 in EmbryoAssist™ compared to the cleavage-stage medium of the original BlastAssist® system.
